Adjunct faculty, on-line CIS Electronic Commerce, EECS
The Computer Information Systems program within the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science is seeking an instructor to teach Electronic Commerce (CIS 3318) at the undergraduate level.
Applicant should have at least a Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with experience in teaching in an on-line environment.
The course introduces students to the principles and practices of conducting business online, including web technologies, digital payment systems, cybersecurity, and the integration of business processes with internet-based platforms.
The full online undergraduate-level course is scheduled for Fall 1, Fall 2, Spring 1, Spring 2 and Summer.
Deliver engaging lectures and discussions on e-commerce concepts and applications.
Prepare instructional materials including syllabi, assignments, projects, and assessments.
Introduce students to practical tools and platforms for building and managing e-commerce systems.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and privacy standards in online platforms.
Evaluate student performance through exams, projects, and participation.
Provide timely feedback, academic support, and mentorship to students.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the CIS curriculum and ensure alignment with program outcomes.
