Description
Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) seeks adjunct faculty to teach Developmental Math courses throughout the 2025-2026 academic year at campuses including Walla Walla, Clarkston, Washington State Penitentiary, Coyote Ridge Corrections Center, and online/remotely.
General Responsibilities
Faculty facilitate student learning through preparation and delivery of course materials, feedback, grading, and connecting students to resources.
Essential Responsibilities
- Teach assigned classes
- Provide syllabus
- Evaluate performance and provide feedback
- Maintain records in LMS
- Hold office hours
- Utilize technology
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Adult Education, Secondary Education, or related (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated proficiency teaching mathematics at pre-college/secondary level (2 years min)
- Commitment to equitable access for diverse students
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in related field
- Knowledge of Career and College Readiness Standards
- Experience with instructional technology, various modalities
- Experience with diverse backgrounds
