Adjunct – Multiple Positions
Vincennes University invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructors--Early College Summer Grant Program Fort Wayne & South Bend. We are
seeking applicants for instructors in the areas of Public Speaking, Psychology (2 positions), and Business Internship.
Position summary:
The Early College Program has openings for adjunct faculty to teach dual credit courses as part of an adjunct faculty pool. This is a non-tenure track faculty
position, reporting primarily to the Assistant Dean of Early College Programs for Vincennes University- Fort Wayne.
Job Requirements/Experience:
Candidates should have the interest and expertise to teach their assigned courses in an open access college setting. Minimum qualification is a Master’s Degree in the content area or a Master’s Degree with 18 graduate hours in the content area. High school teacher certification and/or experience working with high
school students is preferred.
Skills/Abilities:
The successful candidate must:
• Be able to teach rigorous college coursework to high school students.
• Be able to incorporate a variety of teaching strategies and technologies in the classroom.
• Be able to encourage and assist new students to develop skills and confidence.
• Be able to provide a challenging environment for the highly skilled student.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Primary responsibilities:
• Teaching undergraduate/dual credit courses and associated labs.
• Participate in the development and implementation of assessment, including learning outcomes at the course, program, college, and university level.

- Resume or curriculum vitae.
- Statement regarding working with diverse student populations
- Copies of transcripts verifying educational degree (official transcripts required upon offer of employment).
