The College of Education seeks to establish a pool of qualified applicants for future, part-time Adjunct Faculty appointments in Special Education Graduate Level. Successful applicants may teach up to six (6) semester credit hours online within the required discipline as dictated by student demand, hold virtual office hours, and assist students as needed.

Education and Experience:

• An earned doctorate in Special Education.
• Three years of EC-12 teaching.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous teaching experience at the collegiate level.
• Experience with online course delivery.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with the general public.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work under stress and with pressing timelines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Other Information:

These temporary appointments are for the Fall 2025 semester and/or any applicable Fall 2025 Sub-terms. Initial review of applications will begin on July 28th, 2025.
