Adjunct Faculty - Speech
Speech 101 is a basic oral communication course taught face-to-face, covering a multitude of speech topics. The instructor is responsible for facilitating the class, grading student speeches, teaching basic communication processes, and working with the faculty to develop the class and assess student work. The instructor is also responsible for maintaining their own electronic website associated with the course (through the College's system of choice, BlackBoard). This person should be on time, flexible, and supportive to students.
Education Requirements: Master's Degree in Speech Communication or related area required.
Experience Requirements: Preferred: Teaching at college level, two years experience helpful.
Required Documents: A resume and cover letter are required to complete the application process. Official transcripts required upon hire. Employment is contingent upon Criminal Background Check. Employment sponsorship is not available.
