Adjunct Faculty - Sports Psychology - Bellarmine University
Job Description
The Department of Psychology at Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY is seeking a part-time instructor to teach Sports Psychology in the Spring semester (01/05/2026 - 05/04/2026). This course is being offered in person and on campus. Preferred applicants will have teaching experience in sports psychology. In addition to the course, the instructor is expected to be available to students as needed, including a minimum of one hour of office hours held weekly on campus or remotely.
At Bellarmine, Sports Psychology is designed to present students with an introduction to sport psychology. The class will focus on recent research in this area and applications of this research to improve athletic performance and exercise adherence. The class is being offered as a hybrid course that will meet in person for one hour 15 minutes and have an additional one hour and 15 minutes of asynchronous material each week. There are two sections of Sports Psychology available. The day and times are below. In your letter of interest please indicate which sections you are available to teach. If you are interested in teaching multiple sections, please include this in your letter.
Tuesday 9:25 - 10:40, with an additional 75 minutes of asynchronous time
Thursday 9:25 - 10:40, with an additional 75 minutes of asynchronous time
Visa sponsorship is not provided for this position.
Job Requirements
- Master degree of above in Psychology awarded before December 2025
- Must be able to teach on campus on Tuesday and Thursday 9:25 - 10:40
