Position Overview: The Veterinary Technology, Adjunct Instructor teaches courses in the lecture, laboratory and/or clinical setting.

What you will be doing: Provides instruction in Veterinary Technology courses; Evaluates and advises students; Develops curricula; Recruits students; Serves on committees; Performs other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed: Master’s degree in any field and a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology from an American Veterinary Medical Association Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (AVMA CVTEA) accredited program; and Valid national Veterinary Technician (CVT) certification from the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB) or State of Florida Veterinary Technician licensure; and 3 years of full-time work and/or instructional experience in field; All degrees must be from regionally accredited institutions; Must possess excellent communication skills; Must be able to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community; Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends; Must be able to travel between campuses, clinical sites and off-campus offering sites; Must possess basic computer skills.
