Education/Experience: Associate’s degree in health science or related field. CMA, RMA, or certification, registration or licensure as a healthcare professional or clinical experience. Minimum 2000 hours of relevant work experience required. Certain courses may require additional requirements.

Qualifications: Appropriate certification or licensure or Associate’s degree in a health science discipline or a related field. Registered Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant or Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP) with recent ambulatory clinical experience preferred; knowledge of course content, as evidenced by education and/or experience; education or experience in effective direction and evaluation of student learning and laboratory performance; preparation in educational theory and techniques; credentialed or eligible for national credentialing as medical assistant is desirable.
