Adjunct Instructor, Liberal Arts
West Virginia University's Potomac State College campus in Keyser, West Virginia, is seeking to develop a pool of qualified adjunct instructors to fill part-time teaching opportunities as they become available. The college invites applications for part-time adjunct positions to teach Liberal Arts related courses in person and/or online. Potential areas of need include art history, child development and family studies, communication studies, English, media studies, political science, psychology, social work, and sociology.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a master's degree in the course content area from a regionally accredited college or university is required by time of appointment OR a master's degree in a related field and 18 credit hours in the course content area and/or work experience in the field
- Previous college teaching experience is valued.
- APPQMR certification or equivalent is required for online teaching.
