Adjunct Instructor, Non-destructive Inspection & Testing
Job Summary
Reporting to the campus department instructional leader, adjunct instructors provide assistance to students in their learning process by utilizing all appropriate college resources, materials, facilities, and educational technologies available to complement the teaching and learning process providing a direct impact to student success.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Performance Requirements include accepting and teaching classes based on varied schedules and modalities, preparing and delivering instruction following the College Master Syllabus, communicating with students, preparing assignments and assessments, maintaining student records, evaluating student performance, and more. Service Excellence requirements include supporting the mission and values of the College, completing required training, and adhering to policies.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher
- Three (3) years of directly related non-teaching work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one (1) year's experience teaching a class or facilitating training
- Current or previously held Level II certification in a Nondestructive Testing method
