CHE 113 | Introductory Biological Chemistry for the Health Sciences

Course: An introductory course for students in the Carroll University Nursing program. The course will provide a background in general, organic, and biochemistry. The first part of the course will focus on atomic structure, bonding, molecular geometry, states of matter, and energy. After a study of chemical reactions, gas laws, and reaction rates, the latter part of the course will focus on organic and biomolecules, and how they relate to biological systems.

Section D: 6:00 p.m. - 7:50 p.m. | Tuesdays & Thursdays | On Campus
Term: Spring 2026 (January 20 - May 6)
Qualifications: A graduate degree in Chemistry (M.S. or Ph.D.) or related field. Official transcripts due upon hire.
