CMP 114 | Computational Thinking II - Statistical Analysis Emphasis
Course: This course will continue to develop computational skills with a heavy focus on statistics. Statistical analyses covered include 1-way and 2-way ANOVA, multiple regression, and chi-square tests. Some experimental design issues will be discussed. As in CMP112, the first course in the sequence, analyses will be done using a spreadsheet and/or statistical software but will also include some scripting.
Section A: 2:00 p.m. - 3:50 p.m. | Tuesdays, Thursdays | On Campus
Section B: 6:00 p.m. - 9:35 p.m. | Thursdays | On Campus
Additional sections may become available.
Term: Spring 2026 (January 20 - May 6)
Qualifications: A graduate degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Mathematics or related field. Official transcripts due upon hire.
The College: The College of Arts and Sciences offers undergraduate and graduate programs through seven departments - Communication and Sociology; Computational and Physical Sciences; English, Modern Languages and Philosophy; History, Political Sciences and Religious Studies; Life Sciences; and Visual and Performing Arts.
