Job Title: Adjunct Instructor - School of Nursing

FLSA Status: Exempt

Posted Salary Range: $1200 per unit

Job Summary: The incumbent teaches assigned courses, ensuring courses taught contain defined syllabi components, level and rigor of content, assessment and evaluation of student learning, outcomes and Instructional effectiveness.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities: The incumbent teaches assigned courses, ensuring courses taught contain defined syllabi components, level and rigor of content, assessment and evaluation of student learning, outcomes and instructional effectiveness.

Essential Job Functions:

• Conducts a requisite number of classes; Teaches assigned subjects
• Provides guidance and supervision to students
• Creates and maintains an environment conducive to excellence in teaching and research
• Preparation and formulation of curricula focused on his/her subject(s)

Qualifications:

Minimum Education: Master’s degree in nursing with three (3) years of relevant, recent clinical experience within area of specialty
