Position Description & Overview
The Girard School of Business at Merrimack College has openings for Undergraduate courses for Managerial Finance and Introduction to Fintech for the Fall 2026 semester. Undergraduate courses:
- Managerial Finance (FIN2500) Monday/Wednesday/Friday 11:30AM – 12:45PM – in person
- Fintech and Cryptocurrency (FIN3344) Online Asynchronous
Courses start on August 31st and will run through December 18th 2026. The course is in-person, on-campus for all scheduled classes and all interested applicants must be able to deliver the course in this modality.
Course descriptions:
Managerial Finance (FIN2500): This course introduces the basics of finance. ... This course is in-person, on-campus and all interested applicants must be able to deliver the course in this modality.
Fintech and Cryptocurrency (FIN3344): This course is designed to explore contemporary issues in finance ... This course is fully online and asynchronous. Applicants should be comfortable creating and recording video content for use within the course.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business or related area, Ph.D. preferred. College teaching experience is preferred, although related work experience may be considered.

Compensation
Minimum: $5,000 per 4-credit course
Minimum: $3,750 per lab section
