Adjunct Lecturer - Special Education

Position Summary

SUNY Geneseo and the The Ella Cline Shear School of Education seek applicants for anticipated part-time temporary adjunct faculty openings. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and applicants will be contacted as needed.

SUNY Geneseo's undergraduate teacher education programs aim to develop candidates with a strong preparation in inclusive and early childhood education as well as in specialized instructional settings.

The successful candidate(s) must show a commitment to diversity (including learning, ethnic, SES, language), and use of technology in instruction.

Required Qualifications

• A Masters in Special Education or closely related field (including use of technology for instruction) and experience teaching in K-12 settings
• Must demonstrate a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive teaching environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Special Education or closely related field is preferred.
