Job Summary
Adjunct pool applications are reviewed on an as-needed basis. Adjuncts are paid starting at $900 per credit hour.
Provides instruction to post-secondary students in assigned content area, both technical and general education and other related activities.

Typical Job Functions
- Provides instruction to post-secondary students in assigned content areas and developing related instructional materials (such as syllabus, lectures, course materials, evaluation tools, classroom activities, and others)
- Maintains consistent Office Hours
- Attends in-service meetings each semester
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in core subject area
- Incumbent must reside in Idaho (Currently CEI doesn’t sponsor Visas)
Additional Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish)
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.
On-site work is essential and regular predictable attendance is required.
Background Investigations
Employment at College of Eastern Idaho will be contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background investigation and may require a credit and/or motor vehicle background investigation depending on the position. Please refer to Policy 225: Background Checks
