Adjunct Professor
PTF2604 Adjunct Faculty Pool-Bethel Schools
Applications are being accepted to for future part-time teaching positions within the Pierce College District (Washington State) at the new Bethel High School as well as the Spanaway Lake High School sites. We are seeking faculty in the natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, mathematics, and English.
Applications will remain on file for 1 year.
Lecture rate is generally $1,190.98 per credit hour and the majority of courses are 5 credit lecture courses a term.
Essential Functions:
- Teach course(s) as assigned.
- Conduct assigned classes in a manner that promotes student success and incorporates various teaching styles and technology.
- Be available to students before and after class, and
- Work effectively with colleagues and students of various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
Qualifications:
•Master’s degree in the discipline or Master’s degree in Education with 15 graduate credits (3 courses) within the discipline being taught.
