- Completing hearing aid prior authorizations and insurance benefit verification.
- Managing Audiology referrals and coordinating with referring offices.
- Ordering and tracking hearing aids and coordinating repairs, warranties, and returns.
- Managing hearing aid drop-offs, walk-ins, and patient questions.
- Assisting patients with basic hearing aid technology, including Bluetooth connectivity.
- Monitoring Audiology schedules, preparing charts, and managing appointment recalls.
- Maintaining accurate patient documentation and Audiology records.
- Managing hearing aid and supply inventory, ordering, shipping, and receiving.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience in a healthcare, clinic, or administrative support setting.
- Strong communication, organization, and computer skills.
- Experience with insurance verification, prior authorizations, EMRs, Audiology, ENT, or hearing healthcare is a plus but not required.
