Administrative Assistant DSO, International Programs (Part Time)
Position Purpose
Provide office and DSO support for the team of International Student Advisors in the office for International Students and Programs.
Essential Duties Summary
- Engage office visitors for a positive first impression of this student-focused office
- Answer phones; triage for immediate forwarding or call backs; manage call logs
- Manage walk-ins; triage for immediate service or schedule appointments; manage service logs
- Take limited administrative actions in SEVIS (address changes; send I-20s, Cancel records)
- Assist International Advisors with electronic filing of student documentation
- Report on call logs and walk in service logs when requested
- Assist with student lists for various department audits
- Work 20 hours in the office, 5 days a week, with some scheduling flexibility
Required Qualifications
- Front facing client or customer service skills familiar with professional office practices
- Experience with basic computer skills
- Experience working on a team in a fast paced, high volume context
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates degree preferred
