Job Summary
Provide administrative support for research management and personnel.
Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to research management and personnel by coordinating meetings, travel organization and reimbursement, ordering supplies, and general administrative projects.
- Collects, and organizes data for specialized reports.
- Effectively interface with internal and external professionals.
- Balancing work flow with changing priorities.
- Proficiency with computer programs is required (i.e: Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Increasing specialized knowledge in area of assignments.
- Familiarity with University and department research administration systems is preferred.

Nearly continuously: office environment.

Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), walking.

Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree in business or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) and three years full-time secretarial experience required. Demonstrated human relations and effective written and verbal communication skills required. Knowledge of basic bookkeeping practices and direct supervisory experience preferred.
