The successful candidate will be expected to Coordinate the OAS lab and its activities, support the academic success of students with disabilities by coordinating and delivering appropriate educational accommodation services, and inclusive learning environments, while fostering personal growth and self-advocacy. All efforts will align with federal regulations, including Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Develop and maintain exam proctoring schedules using CUNY Accommodate, Google Forms, and other established office systems. Coordinate the setup of approved testing accommodations in accordance with documentation and established procedures, including arranging appropriate space, equipment, technology, and other resources. Provide administrative and basic technical coordination to support the implementation of approved assistive technology accommodation during examinations, including coordinating with appropriate staff when additional technical assistance is needed. Provide exam-related administrative support, including serving as a reader or scribe if needed, and in accordance with established accommodation procedures. Assist students in identifying and connecting with established campus resources and services that may support academic organization, test preparation, test anxiety, and other academic needs, referring students to appropriate professional resources as necessary. Communicate established OAS procedures and scheduling information to students, faculty, tutors, and other stakeholders as appropriate. This is a 100% in-person position, with no remote or hybrid option. Some evenings may be required. Experience setting up exams with accommodations. Experience collecting and reporting student data. Experience coordinating tutoring services. Knowledge of Assistive Technologies in college setting. Experience with CUNY Accommodate management system Google Docs/Sheets, and Microsoft Office with an aptitude for learning new systems and software. Experience working with diverse populations.
