Manufacturing & Mechanical Eng Tech Hiring Unit: Boeing Work Location: Seattle Position Terms/Mo: 12 month Full/Part time: Part Time Appointment FTE (%): 0.50 Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt Position Summary: Under the direction of the Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology (MMET) Department Chair, the Coordinator will support the development of global engagement programs at Oregon Tech. The Coordinator is responsible for a broad array of office, technical, and administrative or business-related duties in support of campus programs and operations. This part-time (0.50 FTE) position requires in-person reporting to the Seattle/Boeing campus, located at 2615 West Casino Road, Suite 2A, Everett, WA 98204, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, or as directed. Qualification Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of Administrative Office experience, or five (5) years of Administrative Office experience Ability to effectively and respectfully work, communicate, and collaborate in diverse, multicultural, and inclusive settings Ability to work effectively in high-traffic and frequent interruption environment; including the ability to adapt to changing priorities in an effective and efficient manner Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying laws, rules, policies, and procedures in an Office or equivalent setting Demonstrated experience in the handling of sensitive and/or confidential information Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, as well as databases and specialized programs. Valid Driver’s License Ability to successfully complete and clear background check and Boeing clearance requirements Preferred Qualifications: Experience using multiple software programs including but not limited to: Banner Student and Finance Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT Etrieve DocuSign Applications are exclusively accepted via the Oregon Tech Job Board.
