Administrative Support Assistant I/II (Mid-Shift)
Job Summary
Auburn University Facilities Management is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Administrative Support Assistant II to join our team. This employee will have a mid shift schedule once trained on processes and procedures. This position provides essential administrative support while serving as a central point of contact for students, faculty, staff, guests, and facilities personnel. The role involves responding to a wide range of inquiries related to campus issues such as leaks, damages, power outages, repair needs, and event support. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering work orders into the university’s maintenance management system and ensuring they are routed to the appropriate department for timely resolution. In addition to general office duties, this role requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Essential Functions
- Assist with internal and external customers via multi line phone system, email, in person, and online ReADY system.
- Processes and prepares forms such as work orders, documents, reports, and other types of correspondence, and maintains records for department.
- Works as a liaison between departments within Facilities Management and other departments located on campus.
- Operates standard office equipment such as personal computers, copiers, scanners, fax machines, iPad, etc.
- Maintains inventory and orders office supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Provides gameday support for all home football games.
- May be responsible for performing other office support duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications
Level I- High school diploma or equivalent.
Level II- High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of experience in clerical support services
Substitutions allowed for Experience: Degrees accepted in lieu of experience for advanced levels
Minimum Skills, License, and Certifications
- Minimum Skills and Abilities: Standard knowledge of office functions. Working knowledge of Auburn University administrative systems appropriate to the position.
- Minimum Technology Skills: Not specified.
- Minimum License and Certifications: None Required.
