Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
The School of Creative and Digital Arts (CADA) seeks a motivated, professional and collaborative individual to provide administrative support to the staff and students within the School, specifically within the Schools of Fine Arts, Music and Digital Screen. This will include serving academic visitors and the general public while based in the reception area office at the Ilam School of Fine Arts.
In this varied role, you will ensure the provision of timely and efficient administrative service to stakeholders both within the School and other functions across the University. The Administrator (Creative Arts) will also support academics with administration activities related to course delivery, examination processes and management of the Schools’ scholarships and prizes. You will work within UC policies to manage essential finance and HR administration tasks. You will assist with Creative Arts events, seminars and functions.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong administration background in a medium to large organisation, preferably in the tertiary education sector, and have:
- excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with a wide range of people
- a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in your work
- confidence in using various software platforms
- the ability to maintain confidentiality
- knowledge of administration policies, systems and procedures
The successful applicant will also require high-level organisational skills, including the ability to cope with competing demands, and the ability to work autonomously, as well as collaboratively in a team. In addition, a passion for promoting learning and higher education in the Arts is highly desirable.
