Job Description
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
This position is responsible for ensuring the EnergyCAP process runs smoothly (a utility bill management software system), that backup and/or supporting workers are trained and able to assist during peak workload periods or as needed, and that direct payments are processed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Monitors and coordinates the EnergyCAP utility bill management software system and processes.
- Strategizes and plans the optimum time to start the daily EnergyCAP processes and direct pay processes.
- Provides timely and accurate information for payment and accurate utility cost information.
- Responsible for coaching, developing, and scheduling work activities of backup staff as needed.
- Performs a variety of general Accounts Payable functions.
- Responsible for timely and accurate documentation and record keeping.
- Communicates with internal and external contacts to resolve issues as needed.
- Responsible for other reasonable related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
