Administrator in the School of Education
We have an exciting opportunity for an administrator in the School of Education, and you could be just the person we need for this great opportunity.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a member of a busy and engaged school administrative team, within the School of Education, you will provide professional operational assistance and administrative support to our academic community. Responsibilities include diary management, travel arrangements, minute taking, financial administration, supporting recruitment and events, and organising group meetings, facilities, and resources. Other activities may include maintaining school newsletters, updating web pages, maintaining digital signage and social media.
This role is hybrid. Successful candidates will be able to work flexibly and remotely and will be expected to spend at least 60% of their contracted hours working on campus. Flexibility will be required should the business need require a greater on-site presence.
ABOUT YOU
You are a motivated professional whose career so far might include some administrative work experience which allows you to use your own initiative, as well as manage your own time effectively with minimal supervision, or be looking for an opportunity to take the first step in your career post-study. You will be adaptable, flexible, proactive and a strong team player who is culturally sensitive. You will have strong interpersonal skills and a positive and enthusiastic approach. You will be able to build strong relationships with internal and external organisations and groups and be able to liaise confidently with your stakeholders. You will have excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. You will have strong IT skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Office and similar software.
