The Opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi
We are expanding our team with exciting opportunities to join a crucial function responsible for the review and processing of applications and granting of admission to the University. This role supports the processes for both prospective and existing students, including centralised university admissions procedures for domestic and overseas postgraduate and undergraduate applicants.
You will be a professional administrator with;
- outstanding organisational and analytical skills
- experience in decision-making aligned with organisational policy and legislation
- experience working across and prioritising multiple activities
- familiarity with the New Zealand secondary school and tertiary education environment
Nga haepapa matua | Key Responsibilities
- Assess applications for admission to AUT, ensuring all relevant documents and criteria are met.
- Application decisions are consistent with AUT’s policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service to various stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively to meet established goals and deadlines.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with the New Zealand secondary school and tertiary education environment
- Proven experience in administration, preferably in a higher education or student services environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure

- Salary Ranges | Ngā Utu: $62,000 - $81,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
