Admissions Counselor/Senior Admissions Counselor
Brief Statement of Duties
Admissions Counselor and Senior Admissions Counselor: Responsible for meeting enrollment goals of a recruitment region or specific population and/or participation/satisfaction goals of assigned programs/activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Discipline/Degree Area: Related field
Required Specialized Training/Certifications: Valid motor vehicle driver's license
Required Minimum Work Experience: Admissions Counselor: Two years of student experience in college admissions or campus leadership positions or six months of professional experience in any of the following: a. working with college students in a college/university setting; b. working with high school students as a counselor, teacher, or college/career adviser; c. working in public relations, marketing, relationship-based sales or corporate staff recruitment.
Senior Admissions Counselor: One year of professional experience in college admissions and one year of professional experience in any one of the following: a. working with college students in a college/university setting; b. working with high school students as a counselor, teacher, or college/career adviser; c. working in public relations, marketing, relationship-based sales or corporate staff recruitment.
