Job Description

Seattle University is seeking an Admissions Evaluator. This full-time, nonexempt position is for 12 months per year and requires an on-site work model.

Position Description

Under the direction of the Senior Associate Director of Operations, the Admissions Evaluator reviews and evaluates transcripts for transferable credit, calculates cumulative GPAs, confirms prerequisite courses, and maintains data cleanliness. Responsibilities include:

• Determining course equivalencies and applying previous coursework towards degree requirements in systems like Colleague and Slate.
• Serving as an academic policy resource for incoming students and academic liaisons.
• Responding to inquiries from prospective students and contributing to enrollment goals.
• Adding course equivalencies to the TES database and developing tools for communication.
• Assisting in maintaining data and record cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity and the university's mission.
• One or more years of experience in customer service and detailed data entry, preferably in an educational environment.

• Adept at managing multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with Ellucian Colleague, Slate, and TES.

Compensation at a Glance

Annual Salary Range: $47,000 - $49,000. Seattle University provides generous leave, health plans, retirement contributions, and other benefits.
