Admissions Representative

SUMMARY

An SAU Admissions Representative plays a vital role in shaping the future of SAU’s student body. This position recruits U.S. citizen first-time freshmen within an assigned geographic territory and students being recruited for varsity, JV, and club-level athletic teams. The representative serves as a key ambassador for Spring Arbor University (SAU), offering Christ-centered guidance to students and families throughout the admissions process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following.

  • Build strong relationships with students, families, pastors, and school counselors to generate applications and secure enrollments.
  • Collaborate with the Athletic Department on a regular basis to ensure that we are serving our athletic recruits at all stages of the recruitment cycle.
  • Represent SAU at high schools, college fairs, and other events, showcasing the value of a Christ-centered liberal arts education.
  • Utilize CRM tools (Salesforce) to track engagement and follow-up with prospective students via phone, text, video, and email.
  • Partner with the Visit & Events Coordinator to deliver personalized and memorable campus visit experiences.
  • Actively participate in campus life and events.
  • Remain informed on all academic offerings and provide accurate guidance to prospective students.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and offer feedback for process improvement.
  • Embrace SAU’s mission to help students grow spiritually and academically.
  • Assist with other admissions-related projects as assigned.

REPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as member of the Office of Admissions reporting directly to the Director of Admissions.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

May assist with the supervision of student workers to meet the needs of the school. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong relational, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Goal-driven and motivated.
  • Relationship-building mindset and high emotional intelligence.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems; Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends, as needed.
  • A Christ-centered life that aligns with the Spring Arbor University Concept and Community Covenant.
