The department is home to a range of approaches and methods, which we see as a strength, and successful candidates are expected to develop a strong record of research excellence. The teaching load is 2-2, equally split between Political Science and Environmental Studies. The prospective candidate will contribute to the Political Science program at the undergraduate and graduate curricular levels. The courses for Environmental Studies will include an introductory course and a senior seminar. The expected start date for this position is July 1, 2027.
