Research Project: "Advanced catalyst design for the sustainable production of chemicals from CO2 and light alkanes"
This research project falls within the area of synthesis of nanostructured catalysts for application in the transformation of CO2 and light alkanes into high value-added products.
The research work has a multidisciplinary approach, combining materials synthesis, their characterization using spectroscopic techniques operando in conjunction with synchrotron radiation techniques, and kinetic studies. The objective is to define design strategies aimed at improving the activity and stability of supported metal-based materials, analysing structural reconstruction under reaction conditions, and identifying active sites, and thereby obtaining structure-activity correlations.
Requierements:
- Bachelor degree in Chemistry/physics/Engineering. Score above 7/10
- TFM
- Experience in heterogeneous catalysis
