The SICU APP plays a vital role in the management of critically ill surgical patients, including those in trauma, transplant, vascular, plastics, orthopedic, burn, and general surgery services.

In this role, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and fellow APPs to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in a high-acuity, academic environment. Responsibilities include:

• Performing procedures such as central and arterial line placement
• Participating in daily rounds, patient handoffs, family meetings, and care conferences
• Engaging in quality improvement initiatives, protocol development, and educational activities
