We are now seeking an Advancement Data and Reporting Officer to join our dynamic team in the Advancement Directorate, where you’ll play a key role in transforming data into meaningful insights that drive fundraising success and strengthen alumni and donor relationships.

  • Full-time, continuing position
  • Based at the Townsville Bebegu Yumba campus, with remote working arrangements within Australia considered for the successful candidate
  • HEWL 6: $90,821 - $98,369 per annum plus up to 17% employer superannuation contributions, leave loading and other generous employee benefits.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Advancement Data and Reporting Officer will provide operational data and reporting support to the University’s Advancement function. The role is responsible for producing accurate reports and datasets, maintaining data quality within Advancement systems, and supporting fundraising, alumni engagement, and stewardship activities through timely and reliable information.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant qualification in data analytics, information systems, business analytics or a related discipline, together with demonstrated experience in data analysis, reporting and database management; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training. You will bring a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to data integrity and compliance, along with excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills. The ability to communicate complex information clearly to stakeholders with varying levels of data literacy will be essential. Exposure to CRM systems and business intelligence tools such as Raiser’s Edge, Power BI, or SQL would be beneficial, as would familiarity with the Australian tertiary education or philanthropic sector, especially in an Advancement context
