Position Summary: The Department of Aviation and Aerospace Science at Metropolitan State University of Denver invites applications for future part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions. For more information, visit: https://www.msudenver.edu/aviation-aerospace.

Responsibilities: An affiliate faculty member's duties include teaching assigned classes in person or online, preparing course materials, grading student work, providing feedback, addressing student questions, and providing academic support. Instruction must align with course syllabus and department policies. Candidates should adapt to new modes of instruction and be sensitive to diverse student needs.

Required Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree plus four years of relevant work experience or a master's degree or doctorate; experience with space mission architecture, industry tools, orbital mechanics, and knowledge of historical spaceflight systems and future trends.

Terms of Employment: Affiliate faculty are part-time, at-will employees hired on a per credit hour basis. They are not eligible for benefits and must teach in person/on campus.
