Position Summary

The Department of Engineering and Engineering Technology at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions in Construction Project Management. Responsibilities

Teach in-person, part-time courses in Construction Project Management. Duties include delivering course content, preparing materials, grading, providing feedback, addressing student questions, and offering academic support. Instruction must align with course syllabus and department policies. Adapt to new teaching modes and be sensitive to diverse student needs.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Project Management or related field, plus four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Construction Project Management or related field, plus four years of experience, or a Doctorate.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• CFM (Certified Facility Manager) certification.

Terms of Employment

Affiliate faculty are part-time, at-will employees hired per credit hour, typically semester-by-semester. Not eligible for benefits. Teaching is in-person on campus and dependent on budget and enrollment.

Salary

Salary based on the number of credit hours assigned, as per university policy. For rates, refer to: Affiliate Rates AY 25-26.
