"Agrifood Futures Leadership Positions"

The University of Reading is establishing a world-class leadership team for its Agrifood Futures strategy. The positions include:

• Agrifood Futures Director: A professorial role providing visionary leadership for the overall strategy, driving infrastructure, partnerships, and impact.
• Director, Resilient Food Systems: A professorial role leading research to empower stakeholders in understanding, mitigating, and adapting to risks in the global agrifood system.
• Director, Sustainable Farming Systems: A professorial role driving research in farming practices that work with nature and climate for sustainable production and environmental gains.
• Director, Healthy Sustainable Foods: A professorial role leading transformation towards healthy, sustainable diets, supported by food processing and consumer research.
• Head of Strategic Partnerships and Investments: A professional services role forging partnerships and securing investments across industry, government, and global stakeholders.

Each Director role involves a Professorial appointment with 80% time dedicated to the Priority Research Area. Candidates must have internationally recognized research profiles, success in securing funding, and experience in building teams and partnerships.
