Job Description
As a Learning Product Owner, you will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of a portfolio of online learning products-from concept through launch and ongoing optimization. This portfolio will include all AI-related courses and certificates. Given the rapid evolution of AI technologies, this role requires frequent content updates and continuous iteration to ensure relevance, accuracy, and market alignment.
You will operate at the intersection of learning science, product strategy, and instructional technology to design scalable, high-impact learning experiences that meet both market demand and organizational standards. This role offers high ownership and visibility, with the opportunity to shape innovative, data-driven learning solutions in a fast-moving domain.
What You'll Do:
- Own a portfolio of learning products across the full product lifecycle, from concept through launch and ongoing iteration
- Design and oversee curriculum and assessment to ensure quality, relevance, alignment, and validity
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver effective, scalable, and high-impact learning experiences
- Apply learning science, user experience design, and accessibility best practices to all products
- Lead development teams to ensure designs are executed as intended and delivered on time
- Use data and learner insights to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement
- Contribute to innovation by leveraging emerging technologies, including AI, to improve design, development, and workflows.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience working in agile or iterative development environments
- Strong product thinking with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Expertise in instructional design, learning science, and adult learning theory
- Experience designing end-to-end online learning experiences
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable product improvements
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Experience Design, or related field
- 4 years of relevant professional experience in instructional design or project management.
- Experience with online learning and change management.
Bonus Points for (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in competency-based education or online higher education
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and tools
- Experience leveraging AI in learning design, development, or analysis workflows
