"All of Us Research Program Coordinator"

The All of Us Research Program (AoU) is a major initiative of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The UW – Madison is one of four health provider organizations in the All of Us Wisconsin consortium. The program is working to enroll at least one million volunteers living in the U.S. to contribute their health data over many years to improve health outcomes, fuel the development of new treatments for disease, and catalyze a new era of evidence-based and more precise preventive care and medical treatment. With the vast majority of these participants now recruited, the program continues to evolve. In the next funding period, UW-Madison activities will focus on sharing electronic health record data with the national consortium, maintaining engagement of existing participants, and supporting facilitated participation of a limited number of new participants.

This position will be based in Madison as part of the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research within the School of Medicine and Public Health and will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and reporting activities to meet grant deliverables. The Research Program Coordinator will work closely with the Principal Investigators and will be responsible for facilitating the process by which participant medical record data is shared with the national All of Us data repository, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing digital enrollment strategies, tracking metrics, preparing reports, and communicating with counterparts at the other three health provider organizations (the Marshfield Clinic, UW – Milwaukee, and Gundersen Health Systems). The Research Program Coordinator will be responsive to the goals, responsibilities, requirements and milestones of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding that supports the All of Us Research Program.

This position is full or part-time, 75% - 100%. This is a terminal appointment through July 31, 2026, and has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding. This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.

This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years. Travel is required. Must provide a valid driver's license. Employees may use their own transportation or receive approval for University Car Fleet usage. Employment is conditional pending the results of a Pre-hire Driver Authorization Check.

Key Job Responsibilities: Monitors program budget(s) and approves unit expenditures. Develops policies, procedures, and institutional agreements on behalf of the program. Plans, develops, and implements processes and protocols to support research aims. Assists in the development, coordination, and facilitation of trainings and workshops for internal and external audiences to disseminate research program developments and information. Coordinates the daily activities and contracts related to one or more research program(s). Serves as a unit liaison and subject matter expert among internal and external stakeholder groups, collaborates across disciplines and functional areas, provides program information, and promotes the accomplishments and developments of scholars and research initiatives.

Compensation: The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 up to $90,000. Actual pay within this range will depend on experience and qualifications. Required Qualifications: Minimum two years of experience working in human subjects' research and/or clinical trial management. Knowledge of federal policies and regulations related to clinical research, including human subjects protections. Demonstrated experience with project management (establishing milestones, defining tasks and timelines, etc.). Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with informatics in a healthcare setting. Experience lending leadership to and coordinating research studies. Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
