Classification Pay Scale
In compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only.
Expected Pay Scale
Minimum: $100,000.00 Annually
Maximum: $140,000.00 Annually
Job Summary One Full time, 12-month, Tenure or Non-Tenure Track Open Rank faculty position. Review of applications will begin March 2, 2026 and continue until the position is filled. Nestled in the scenic Willamette Valley, the College of Health Sciences- Northwest is centrally located one hour from the coast, one hour from the mountains, and one hour from Portland. It is the ideal location for anyone interested in rural-outdoor living, with easy access to urban life. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities The college is seeking an optimal match between individual qualifications and assessed ability to contribute to the College’s mission. All qualified candidates will be considered. Rank (Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Full Professor) will be determined based on the College of Health Sciences-Northwest Faculty Guidelines. Required Qualifications Education:
- A terminal clinical degree (post-professional doctorate, or DPT) and/ or a terminal academic degree (e.g., PhD, EdD, DSc) with contemporary knowledge of rehabilitation sciences. All but dissertation (ABD) candidates will also be considered.
- Evidence of recent clinical and/or teaching experience.
- Expertise in any of the following specialty areas: neurology, geriatrics, cardiopulmonary, acute care, culture and ethics, prosthetics/orthotics, biostatistics, and experimental design.
- Previous post-doctoral or faculty experience.
- Scholarly agenda that contributes to the profession.
- Residency or fellowship training or ABPTS certification.
- Professional association membership with evidence of advocacy for the physical therapy profession.
- Eligibility for licensure as a physical therapist in Oregon.
