In compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only.
Expected Pay Scale
Minimum: $100,000.00 Annually
Maximum: $140,000.00 Annually
Job Summary One Full time, 12-month, Tenure or Non-Tenure Track Open Rank faculty position. Review of applications will begin March 2, 2026 and continue until the position is filled. Required Qualifications Education:

• A terminal clinical degree (post-professional doctorate, or DPT) and/ or a terminal academic degree (e.g., PhD, EdD, DSc) with contemporary knowledge of rehabilitation sciences. All but dissertation (ABD) candidates will also be considered.

Experience:

• Evidence of recent clinical and/or teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications Experience:

• Expertise in any of the following specialty areas: neurology, geriatrics, cardiopulmonary, acute care, culture and ethics, prosthetics/orthotics, biostatistics, and experimental design.
• Previous post-doctoral or faculty experience.
• Scholarly agenda that contributes to the profession.
• Residency or fellowship training or ABPTS certification.
• Professional association membership with evidence of advocacy for the physical therapy profession.
• Eligibility for licensure as a physical therapist in Oregon.
