The line cook at the Statler Hotel is responsible for executing daily prep tasks, including cutting ingredients, setting up the production line, and preparing food with accuracy and speed. They ensure food safety by monitoring and recording temperatures and maintain cleanliness of the work area. Additionally, they provide functional guidance and training for student cooks while collaborating with front-of-house staff to ensure a quality customer experience. The role requires maintaining professionalism, supporting teammates, and adhering to operating standards during shift closures. Reporting to the Sous Chef or Manager, the line cook may also perform other duties as assigned. Work schedules are variable based on business needs and may require morning, night, weekend, or holiday availability.
