Maintains and updates analytical spreadsheets and supporting
documentation used in tax revenue forecasting and modeling;
supports the preparation and compilation of Truth-in-Taxation (TNT)
materials and related reporting deliverables, ensuring data
accuracy and documentation integrity in coordination with senior
staff
Consolidates and analyzes property tax data from county tax
offices and appraisal districts to support the preparation of
revenue forecasts and projections; prepares and maintains
analytical schedules used in the financial analysis and budgeting
and performs data validation
Compiles, standardizes, and analyzes property tax data from
county tax offices and appraisal districts to support the
development of revenue estimates and projections; assists in
preparing analytical schedules and supporting documentation for
financial analysis and budget development
Prepares, reviews, and processes debt service payment
transactions within the Deal Management module (PeopleSoft);
performs detailed validation and reconciliations to confirm
accuracy and completeness; maintains comprehensive supporting
documentation to ensure compliance with internal controls
Executes and analyzes monthly bond-related accruals as part of
the month-end closing process; validates accuracy and completeness
through detailed reconciliations to supporting schedules and
general ledger balances, and investigates variances to ensure
financial integrity and compliance
Provides cross-functional analytical support within the
department and regularly communicates with a variety of external
entities (such as Financial Advisors, Appraisal District, Arbitrage
Consultants, State Comptroller, Tax Assessors/Collectors, etc.) to
execute deliverables to meet team objectives
Supports regulatory compliance and financial reporting
requirements by aggregating, validating, and analyzing data;
contributes to the preparation of annual audit schedules and the
Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) including data
reconciliation, and documentation to ensure accuracy and
completeness with reporting standards
Processes and monitors appraisal district quarterly assessment
payments, property tax remittances, paying agent fees, and other
related disbursements; verifies accuracy, ensures timely execution,
and maintains supporting documentation for reconciliation and audit
purposes
Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as
assigned

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to
do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending;
carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or
driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to
perform the work.
WORK SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS:
- Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a
Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone, and other general
office equipment
- Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to
carry out the functions of the position
- Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal
exposure to safety hazards
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience, or an
equivalent combination of education and experience
Salary
Hiring salary range is: $58,625 - $67,419
Lone Star College provides a hiring salary range for all posted
full-time non-faculty positions. Where your salary offer would fall
in that range is determined by your related experience and
