Job Description:
Summary:
The Analyst, Marketing & Technology leads the marketing and
promotion of recruitment and career events and career development
services. This role also maintains a virtual career center
(website), as well as a robust tech suite, and supports metrics and
outcomes reporting.
Essential Functions:
1.) Marketing and Communication
- Effectively market services to increase student engagement and
access.
- Strategy: Create and implement comprehensive marketing strategy
for services. Develop and execute social media strategy including
LinkedIn groups related to career pathways with directors, social
media interns, and Kogod’s Marketing and Communication Team.
Social Media: Stay abreast of social media trends, including
best practices for determining return on investment. Monitors
social media channels and responds to inquiries and comments in a
timely manner.
job Promotion: Promote job, internship, and other employer
opportunities including curation and distribution of
newsletters.
Benchmarking: Develop and implement methods to determine
marketing communication effectiveness and explore new methods for
reaching target audiences. Utilize engagement and usage data and
feedback from stakeholders to increase usage of tech
platforms.
Website Management: Manage web presence including Virtual
Career Center website and Canvas sites.
Collateral: Maintain all office collateral, including virtual
and print, and ensure messaging and quality are aligned with
standards. Maintain and create templates for presentations and
external communication.
Reporting: Manage branding of monthly, quarterly, and annual
reports for employers, faculty, staff, and leadership. Contribute
to internal communication materials.
2.) Systems Management
- Enhance student and staff usage of technology platforms.
- Systems: Maintains technology systems provided by external
vendors (e.g. Quinncia, GoinGlobal, Firsthand/Vault, Handshake,
12Twenty, etc).
- Accounts: Maintain office’s accounts and administrative access
to systems (e.g. CareerLeader, Gallup Access, Handshake, 12Twenty
etc).
- Subscriptions: Maintain internal documentation of tech
platforms and subscriptions, contracts, and renewal dates. Manage
office subscriptions to internal office accounts (zoom etc.).
- Training: Train staff on system upgrades, changes, and provide
alerts that may disrupt workflows. Coordinate training sessions,
workshops, and create SOPs to educate staff members and students in
the optimal use of technology platforms.
- Access: Manage student access to relevant platforms and
troubleshoot user issues individual or in conjunction with
vendors.
- Handshake: Serve as Handshake administrator for Kogod
facilitating account access, conducting CRM imports, coordinating
with central AUCC staff, trouble-shooting account access, and
maintaining relevant documentation and training materials.
- Benchmarking: Stay informed about emerging technologies and
recommend updates and changes to improve efficiency and
effectiveness. Research new vendors/systems and make
recommendations regarding Implementation.
3.) Student Worker Supervision and Other Duties
- Supervise student workers and represent team.
- Supervision: Supervise team of student workers.
- Other duties as assigned: Facilitate special projects, serve on
committees, etc. as needed.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- Full-time.
- 35 hours per week.
- The schedule is 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday with some
evening/weekend hours.
Salary Range:
- $59,000.00 - $73,000.00 annually.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's degree or equivalent.
- 5 - 8 years of relevant experience.
Travel Required:
- Position requires domestic and international travel.
