- Graduate study toward the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in the field of Animal Sciences may be pursued in the areas of Animal Behavior and Welfare, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Genetics, Management, Meat Science and Food Safety, Neuroscience, Nutrition, and Physiology.
- In addition, Ph.D. programs are offered in the area of Interdisciplinary Genetics.
- Upon completing the program, graduates can pursue careers at universities, research institutions, government and non-governmental organizations, and pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies.
- Historically, our Animal Sciences students at Purdue University have had nearly 100% placement at graduation.
