Provide routine and technical support for multiple research projects under limited supervision. Handle and restrain rodents safely and humanely while adhering to institutional and regulatory guidelines.Collect, compile, and maintain accurate research data and experimental records. Conduct behavioral testing and data collection (Y-Maze, Novel Object Recognition, gait analysis, tail skin temperature measurement, and other behavioral methods), to maintain and analyze comprehensive records of genetic information (housing conditions, clinical observations, and outcomes). Perform specialized rodent procedures ( various blood collection techniques, behavioral analyses, blood analyses, et al).Monitor animals and accurately document observations, results and any deviations from established protocols. Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures using Climb.Organize and maintain research files, laboratory records and study documentation and recommend new strategies to ensure accuracy.Maintain laboratory equipment and work areas in a clean, organized, and compliant manner. Contribute to operational improvements in animal care and data collection.Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures.Collaborate with investigators, laboratory personnel, and veterinary staff to ensure successful completion of research objectives. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Working knowledge of laboratory data management and documentation requirements.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety ReportIn compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an
Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
