ANIOS Dermatologie
At the Dermatology department of Radboudumc, a position for an arts-not-in-training-to-specialist (ANIOS) will become available starting January 1, 2026, for a duration of one year. As a registered physician, if you aspire to gain extensive medical knowledge and expertise in dermatology quickly, this is your opportunity!
As an ANIOS, you will enthusiastically manage the care process in outpatient patient care. You will independently conduct general dermatology consultations and emergency consultations at our modern, well-equipped outpatient clinic. This will be done alongside other ANIOS and AIOS according to a quarterly schedule, supported by a motivated team of nurses. Direct supervision from a staff member is always available during consultations.
You will participate in the training for basic physicians and supervise medical students during their consultations. Each workweek includes one or two half-days free from patient care for preparation and follow-up of consultations. Additionally, you will attend patient discussions and educational sessions with the ANIOS/AIOS group. You will also join intervision groups to discuss practical experiences and challenges, contributing to your professional development.
Evening, night, and weekend shifts are not applicable. Since September 1, 2025, there is a collaboration with Maasziekenhuis Pantein in Beugen (Boxmeer). Although a fixed team operates there, you may occasionally be asked to assist.
This role offers a broad spectrum of outpatient patients and an intensive learning program, allowing you to deepen and broaden your professional knowledge and experience quickly.
Requirements: We seek an enthusiastic and decisive BIG-registered basic physician with demonstrable interest in dermatology. Preferably, you have work experience in this field. If you complete your basic physician training before January 1, 2026, we invite you to apply.
You are eager to learn, critical, and have a patient-oriented, caring, and involved attitude. You work well independently, are strong in planning and organizing, decisive, and possess good problem-solving skills. You operate with professional responsibility, both independently and in a team.
Additionally, you are communicatively skilled and pleasant in interactions—making colleagues and patients feel at ease.
Employment Conditions: Fixed-term contract for 1 year. Part-time employment is negotiable. At Radboudumc, we build for the future by providing the best care, education, and research. You can expect: A gross monthly salary between €4,485 and €6,177 (scale 11A) for a full-time position (40-48 hours per week), plus 8% holiday pay, 8.3% end-of-year bonus, and 20% Allowance for Aggravating Circumstances (TVO). 24 vacation days per year based on a 40-48 hour workweek, plus production-related leave days as per the collective labor agreement.
You will work at the Dermatology department of Radboudumc, with approximately 120 colleagues, including 12 dermatologists, 15 AIOS, 3 ANIOS, physician researchers, physician assistants, nurses, medical assistants, administrative staff, and the staff office. Consultations take place on the first floor of the new A-building. For preparation and follow-up, you have a workspace on the seventh floor with a beautiful view of Nijmegen. Special rooms are available for telephone consultations. Education and patient discussions occur in larger spaces elsewhere in the hospital. Working from home is possible on days without patient care, with good arrangements in place. The ANIOS/AIOS group is close-knit and social, organizing regular joint lunches and drinks for relaxation and connection.
Radboudumc's mission is to have a significant impact on health and healthcare. We lead in developing sustainable care that keeps people and the environment healthy, is meaningful and affordable, and prefers prevention over cure—for the children of our children. This is achieved through our core tasks: care, education, and research. We work innovatively, person-centered, and in collaboration with networks.
