Anthropology Affiliate Instructor
Metropolitan State University of Denver is seeking applications for part-time affiliate faculty positions in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology for the Anthropology degree program.
Position Summary: The Department invites applications for affiliate faculty to teach introductory Anthropology courses and other areas based on department needs. Classes may be scheduled in the morning, afternoon, evening, or online.
Responsibilities: Teach assigned classes in person or online, prepare materials, grade assignments, provide feedback, address student questions, and offer academic support. Instruction must align with course syllabi and department policies. Adapt to new teaching modes and be sensitive to diverse student needs.
Required Qualifications: A Master's degree in Anthropology or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Anthropology or a related field, plus teaching experience.
Terms of Employment: Positions are temporary, part-time, non-tenure track, paid per credit hour, and dependent on budget and enrollment. Teaching is expected in person on campus.
Salary: Based on the number of credit hours assigned, as per university policy. For details, refer to the Affiliate Rates.
