enterprise cloud-based services, such as AWS , Heroku, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services ( IICS ), Oracle Integration Cloud ( OIC ), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. The position provides ongoing maintenance and support of mission-critical integrations for Oracle Student Financial Planning ( OSFP ) and other enterprise projects. Additional tasks related to the ongoing documentation, maintenance, and improvement of supported web-based applications will also be performed. This position is also a key contributor to the ongoing EARC's evolution and development of cloud computing strategies, roadmaps, and plans. Among the key duties of this position are the following: Designs and implements data integration processes between various Rutgers systems and services using enterprise cloud-based services, such as AWS , Heroku, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services ( IICS ), Oracle Integration Cloud ( OIC ), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. Provides ongoing maintenance and support of mission-critical integrations for the Oracle Student Financial Planning ( OSFP ) and other enterprise projects. Defines configuration and extension standards, specifies technical approaches and implementations for conversions, interfaces, and reports. Maintain and improve supported web-based applications and integration processes and communicate with vendor support teams, as necessary. Troubleshoots problems, works with staff to resolve problems; works closely with functional users to understand and resolve open issues. Participates in change management and release management activities. Identifies and reports risks, issues, and dependencies on assigned tasks/projects. Participates in test planning, perform testing activities as needed (including unit, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing), and apply performance optimizations. Suggests technology solutions to business challenges under the direct and/or indirect supervision of the Director of IT. Consults with management and business areas as required to clarify requirements for proposed development projects, system enhancements, and maintenance; identifies and suggests solutions to problems. Identifies customer needs and take action to meet those needs. Continually searches for ways to increase customer satisfaction. Writes and updates requirements, design, and user guide documentation to describe systems and access abilities, as required to ensure all code changes and updates are properly documented according to the university's standards. Develop scopes, deliverables, and schedules for assigned projects. Provides technical guidance to lower-level staff employees and/or temporary and/or student employees. Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, plus five (5) years of relevant work experience is required. Equivalent experience, education and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirement.
