On the 1 August 2026, the University of Greenwich and the University of Kent formed a pioneering new multi-university group called London and South-East (LASE) University Group.
Should you join us, you will be employed by LASE but will work as part of the University of Greenwich academic division, contributing to its distinct strengths, community and identity while also being part of a wider group that brings together the scale, resilience and shared ambition of both universities.
Through LASE we aim to deliver outstanding education, impactful research, and meaningful regional and global impact.
This post will be an integral part of the Faculty of Education, Health and Human Sciences (FEHHS). The faculty, currently one of four faculties within the University of Greenwich is the only faculty with a student presence across all three of the University of Greenwich campus, the Medway campus in Chatham Maritime, the Greenwich campus in Greenwich, London and the Avery Hill Campus in Eltham, London. We are seeking an experienced skills coach to join the FEHHS professional services team in working proactively, methodically, and self-organised who will meet with the apprentices, their employers, other university stakeholders to ensure a positive learners journey and assist in making the University of Greenwich the first choice for apprentices in London and South East England. The role will include working closely with the academic team, assisting with inductions, end point assessment preparation, 12 week reviews, general compliance monitoring and acting as student support assisting the apprentice with any support needs that may arise whilst on their studies to maximise retention and completion rates. You will act as point of liaison with central university departments for your allocated programmes and work within a small team supporting all of the FEHHS apprentices to timely completion of their programmes.
